It is impossible to identify the artist more precisely. There is an old auction record from the Auction House Moore Allen & Innocent, UK about a lot (number 341) of two watercolors of an artist signed “S.Wright” and fully entitled as: “Macedonian peasant, Uscub” and “Greek Comitadji Mt. Parnassus 1917” both signed and dated 1921. The artist was probably a soldier in the British army stationed in Macedonia during the Great War.
