Born on January 5, 1918 in Düsseldorf, died in 1966 in Mönchengladbach. Düsseldorf landscape, figure and still-life painter and graphic artist. Painted in a neo-impressionistic style. He attended the Düsseldorf Academy and was a student of Heuser, Kiederich and Junghanns. His painting style is influenced by impressionism and classic modernism.
Weitz visited Macedonia in the 1950s where he painted the watercolor Ohrid, St., Naum Monastery which is in the collection of the author of this lexicon.
